It is a privilege to lead a school dedicated to providing a high-quality, supportive, and engaging environment that builds every student's academic, social and emotional capacity. Our daily life is guided by our core values: Passion, Respect, Integrity, Commitment, and Empathy. We prioritize student wellbeing through the Positive Behaviour for Learning framework and the Respectful Relationships curriculum, ensuring an inclusive environment where every student is both supported and challenged.

At Aspendale, we develop lifelong learners who care for themselves, others and the community around them, and actively contribute to the wider world. We achieve this through a rigorous and relevant curriculum, with literacy and numeracy having dedicated teaching times each day.

Our students explore six units of inquiry each year as a part of the International Baccaulareate Primary Years Programme, building their knowledge of science and the humanities.

Our five specialist subjects, Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and Chinese Mandarin, allow all students to follow their passion and foster a love of learning.

Nestled between Aspendale beach and the Edithvale-Seaford wetlands, our spacious grounds and orderly learning spaces allow students to flourish. This environment is bolstered by a dedicated staff and a highly supportive parent community, all of whom hold high expectations for student success.
